Job Title: Administrative Assistant NOC 13110

 

Job Duties:

  • Coordinate the flow of information within the team
  • Open and distribute mail and other materials
  • Schedule and confirm appointments with advisors as per schedule.
  • Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
  • Answer electronic enquiries
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory
  • Provide customer service
  • Greet people and direct them to advisors as per their appointments
  • Maintain and manage digital database
  • Answer telephone calls and emails from customers promptly and direct inquiries to the appropriate insurance agent.
  • Consult with clients after the sale to provide ongoing support
  • Perform basic bookkeeping tasks
  • Handle outbound mail including courier packages, regular and registered mail
  • Record and maintain records of clients for policy renewal or date of expiry etc.
  • Ensuring contract documentation is up to date and filed appropriately as per the requirement of the policy along with proofreading correspondence and documents
  • Update the database and provide clients with any updates if applicable.
  • Purchase office supplies as needed and schedule maintenance for office equipment repairs, if needed
  • Maintaining client files and paperwork for subsequent processes involved in policy.

Job type: Permanent Position/ Full time

 

Language of Work: English

 

Salary: Negotiable ($ 29.00 to $ 39.00 per hour)

 

Schedule

  • 8-hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
